Stingray RV buys out Cheshire American Motorhomes

21 October 2010

Today, Stingray RV signed contracts with what used to be Cheshire American Motorhomes and later became Ultimate American Motorhome.

The purchase of the company further bolsters Stingray RV’s sales and rental business after purchasing F1RV earlier this year.

Cheshire American Motorhomes, previously run by Brian Heerey, was the first company in the UK to hire American motorhomes to motorsport and film events, and later went on to become the leading American RV sales company in the Cheshire area from their base at The Herb Garden near Oulton Park race circuit.

The 2.5 acre site at The Herb Garden forms part of the deal and has planning for American motorhome sales as well as an RV campsite, set is beautiful surroundings.

Simon Leith, Stingray RV’s MD said, “This company purchase is a really good string to add to our bow and opens up some great opportunities for us to expand even further in the American RV arena. Apart from the option to have a new base in Cheshire to sell stock from and obviously increasing the sales and rental sides with their order book, there are also a number of very valuable domain names with the purchase including www.AmericanMotorhomes.co.uk, which we will build as an information service to anyone interested in American RVs. Look out for this great new website over the coming weeks.”

The Cheshire site can take up to 40 RVs for sale and could have up to 10 RV plots with hard standing, power and water. Stingray RV are looking for late model, good quality American Motorhoms on a Sale-or-Return basis to help replace their depleted stock due to high sales and also to get the Cheshire site up and running.
